Jeane is as much a mystery to Caesar as to anyone else. He knows better than to ask her any hard-hitting questions because of her aversion to answers, but every now and then he tries to slip in a personal question in the middle of a conversation, hoping she would slip up and reveal something! On the flip-side, he thinks that Jeane is good at revealing things about himself rather than her, by posing questions that he doesn't often ask himself (such as love and destiny).

All in all, she's a very comforting presence and he enjoys her positive attitude and compliments. She's like the super nice ~~and hot~~ mom if Apple is the strict one.

When Caesar first met Shigure, they seemed to get along right off the bat without a hitch. And they still do! It's hard for Caesar to find friends who share the same qualities as him (laziness), so Shigure easily fills the Juan-shaped hole in Caesar's heart.

You'd think that Caesar would hold it against Shigure for spilling the beans about his fake engagement, considering how it all blew up with Agnes later. However, Caesar knows that it's nothing personal and Shigure was only doing his job.

Caesar also teases Shigure in a friendly manner, meaning he really considers him a great pal who can share a joke or two.

JEREMYYY

Caesar has been trying to hate on Jeremy on several occasions, but his dorky friendliness doesn't make it easy. It was hard for Caesar to compete with Jeremy for Agnes' attention at first, given the man's instant rapport with her and overall kindness compared to Caesar's sometimes irritating personality.

Even when his heart broke as Jeremy got the first dance with Agnes, he still couldn't see him as an enemy because it was clear to him that Jeremy was always oblivious to being part of the love triangle. If anything, it was Jeremy's blindness to Agnes' affections that infuriated him a little!

However, presently, Jeremy is no longer seen as a rival and Caesar's relationship with him is amicable as ever.

Caesar's first impression of Agnes was that she was just this quirky girl worth keeping around and fun to tease. It was only after she was fed up with him and left that he realized she was a lot more than a housekeeper.

Even though Caesar is her teacher, he still thinks of her as his rock. When he gets overwhelmed with his thoughts, his workload, or even just plain hungry, she is there to save him as if they share the same brain.

Their relationship will always be a little awkward to him, even if it's what he wants. Sometimes he has these small moments where he wants to kiss her, but hasn't done so because he's trying to be mindful of her boundaries... he also doesn't know how! But it has never been about physical gratification for him anyway, Agnes stimulates him intellectually and is his soulmate, and that's enough for him.

His first impression of Hervey was that he was this barbarian who's not afraid to cut Caesar up, because he drew his sword when Caesar was caught eavesdropping. Scary!

Nowadays Hervey is like the cool big brother that Caesar never had (because Albert ain't cool). It's largely thanks to his advice that Caesar knew how to deal with his drama regarding Agnes and the ball. Because of that, Caesar trusts Hervey 100% and if he ever found himself in a situation where fighting is necessary to survive, he would choose Hervey as his champion.

Even though he treats Hervey as someone beneath his intelligence (as he does with most people), he never does it in a mean-spirited way and the teasing is really a sign of good will and camaraderie.
